Simulation of Chain
You can see how a chain moves when balls hit the chain in the following video. The video was made with capturing the viewport of Blender while doing physics simulations with Bullet in Blender 2.44. The chain will twine around the thrown ball in a fantastic way.

Try Out Yourself
If you are interested in the motion, you can play around by your own with the .blend file. Press P key to start the game. Then press Space key to get a ball and hit it at the chain. The chain will move around depending on your input.
If you want to get rid of your stress much more, just hit B key. It would be really interesting and effective for stress reduction. Please play with it after your work.
